However, I am a bit sad because there has been no feedback from users. Can you guys tell me why?

1. The site has been optimized for speed. Now, the site comes at least thrice as fast. We will post another blog entry on how we did it. For now, let me say that we used YSlow for detecting scopes for improvements, and worked on them.
2. Clicking on the red feedback button opens up a feedback dialog instead of taking to a different page.
3. In the download page, items has a red “Report violation” link, clicking on which opens up a content violation/copyright infringement report dialog.
4. A critical bug in download component has been resolved. Previously, sharing one file would have revealed other files that were uploaded at the same time with that one file. This bug was discovered after the copyright infringement report. Also, Shuvo vai and Ahsan did a lot to reveal it.
5. We have made a good progress in code commenting and documentation. However, there are a lot to do yet.

We have now the following things on our plate:

1. Reorganizing the code base (with codeigniter) so that it becomes more manageable and extensible.
2. Finish up documentation.
3. Shaping up future path for the project.

For last two weeks, Zakir has been working in our team, and has made a tremendous impact on our speed and spirit Mahadi has been doing great with code commenting and documentation. Kibria vai has showed excellence in helping us with graphics, although lately he has been too busy with other projects.

Once again, Mr Park has mentioned some critical bugs, which we have been working on.

Lastly, I request you all to try to use uploadandsend, and give feedback, whether you become a user or not. We are a very small team, and we build on feedback.

We made quick investigation. Indeed, there was some technical eBooks published by CommonsWare. We contacted the owner of the files and reminded him of our terms of service, which clearly states that any copyright infringement, if found, will lead to removal of those materials. Repeated viloation by the same user may lead to expiration of his/her account.

Incidentally, the user in question told us that he was sorry; he did it only to spread the pleasure he had reading those eBooks, but did not notice the copyright infringement. He removed the files himself. We notified the reporting authority, and they were fine.

Thus, we were happy to help a great site like CommonsWare in preserving its interests.

On another note, we have been developing the “Report Inappropriate Content” feature and it is to be released soon. So, anytime you see any violation of our terms or your copyrights, please let us know. We are really quick to help you.

the overall presentation of the site is pretty good and aesthetic… one marketing suggestion– -try to emphasize the upload and sharing part of this application- not the viewing or editing part- otherwise people will begin comparing it with google docs and othe standard products..

As a matter of importance, we can employ only one full time engineer behind the programming of UploadAndSend (and that is Mahadi). We try hard to meet the balance between urge to develop features fast and creating a maintainable code base. We have developed some features (with some bugs, though), now it is time to tidy things up.

I didn’t check all but i just entered the tour section and i found that your Next and Prev button is on the both sides. i am suggesting to to make this button together say in the same side (prev is just down to the Next). Another issue is when there will be no next then make the next button disable, not hidden and same for the Prev button.

Can you replace the bottom four static portion to a single div and show each text periodically with the shock wave file or whatever.

First of all, I am so glad to see the improvement in download page and the lower portion of homepage. The lower portion of the homepage gave me a homely feeling. Now comes the bad things. 1. In the delivery notification email there is spell error “Upload And Send file delivey (it should be delivery) service”. 2. In this feedback page the first line: “Please fill the fields bellow and submit”. The spelling bellow needs to be corrected 3. In multiple files download page, there can be a button “Download all” in a zipped file. 4. Sometimes the uploading dialog shows negative upload rate.
